Meet Our Team

SMK applies its depth and breadth of
experience to each valuation project.

Below you will find brief biographies for the principals and valuation analysts who will be assigned to work on your engagement, as well as our support staff. SMK applies a team approach to valuation assignments, typically involving two professionals, including a Senior Appraiser, to work on each project. As a firm, we emphasize our “hands-on” time as former operators of and consultants to privately owned businesses. Our exposure to many actual sales or acquisitions over the years gives us a very practical base in assessing and understanding the ingredients of value and the negotiation process. We are qualified to teach continuing education courses to CPAs and attorneys in the area of valuations.

Steve-Rosenbloom

Steven M. Rosenbloom

After 17 wonderful years leading Sheldrick McGehee & Kohler, LLC as president and equity shareholder, I am now retired (2022).  I cannot begin to tell you what a great time this has been for both me and my family, but the most rewarding part of this SMK experience was meeting and working with so many of our wonderful clients.  As they often say, if you love what you do you will never work a day in your life, and that is what SMK has meant to me.

Trust me when I tell you the professional staff that is now the core of SMK will continue providing for you the highest level of valuation services without missing a beat. Though I am retiring, please call if I can help you in any way, or if you would like to just say hello (or goodbye!).  Again, thank you so much for both the business, opportunity and friendship…Smr
